Together they bring to AusVet a wealth of experience in animal health investigation and management gained in Australia, Asia, Africa and America working in all animal industries including aquaculture and more recently in plant and public health.
AusVet's associates are highly skilled and experienced professionals in the fields of epidemiology, risk analysis, production and health of mammals, aquatic animals and birds.
Animal Health Australia, responsible for the management of major animal health programs, have contracted AusVet to provide independent coordination of the National Animal Health Information System, the National Johne's Disease Control Program, the National Arbovirus Monitoring Program and the National Surveillance Program for Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies.
National and international agencies have taken advantage of AusVet's flexibility and independence to undertake risk analyses and to achieve successful surveillance and control of serious diseases of livestock both in Australia and in South East Asia.
