Epidemiological Resources
AusVet is keen to support the development of epidemiological skills globally. Good epidemiologists assist with improved disease control, which benefits everybody. To this end, AusVet has a policy of making epidemiological resources that members of the team develop freely available to anybody interested in using them.
Resources available include:
- Surveillance manuals (both the livestock and aquatic animal versions of the Survey Toolbox in several languages).
- Software, including FreeCalc and Survey Toolbox.
- Training notes from training courses that we have given.
- On-line calculators for epidemiologists
Naturally, whenever these resources are used in published work, we would appreciate acknowledgement.
