Rachel Gordon

BAppSc (Agric) - Project Officer

Prior to joining AusVet, Rachel was employed with NSW Department of Primary Industries as a Technical Officer for several years where she was principally involved with sheep and wool projects. Four months as Vet Liaison Officer during the height of the Equine Influenza Response campaign (October 2007 to February 2008) led to an invitation to join AusVet as a Project Officer in July 2008. Rachel has extensive experience in database management combined with customer service, and practical industry experience.

Rachel has a rural background and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Agriculture) from Charles Sturt University (Wagga Wagga) via distance education in 2006. She recently completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and is also working towards a Masters in Veterinary Public Health Management from Sydney University.
