Havan Yusuf– Coordinator, Data Component (TRANSFORM Indonesia)
Project Consultant, Ausvet Pty Ltd Representative Office, Indonesia
Havan is a veterinarian who graduated from the University of Airlangga. He then completed a double degree: a master’s program in Bio-Veterinary Science from Kasetsart University and a Master of Science from Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse under the InterRisk program. Havan has over five-year experience working on various Indonesian multisectoral research and/or governmental projects. Specifically, those experience includes working as a program manager for the One Health collaborating center at the university of Airlangga, resource mobilization manager for the Indonesia One Health University Network as well as animal surveillance lead for the Ausvet prevalensi-Fleming fund country grant. In 2021, he started working for Ausvet as Indonesia Project Coordinator for TRANSFORM. Havan will also be starting his Ph.D. in 2022 in parallel to his activities as a project coordinator.
Havan’s studies, community work as a student, and later his work experience sharpened in him a strong interest in epidemiology, antimicrobial resistance and usage, and animal health information system.
Bagus Ariyanto – Technical Officer, TRANSFORM Indonesia
Bagus is an animal scientist and project manager with a Bachelor’s degree from IPB University in Nutrition Science and Feed Technology, a Master’s degree from IPB University in Nutrition and Feed, and Montpellier SupAgro France in Livestock Systems. During his Master’s program, he went on a student exchange at Kasetsart University in Thailand. Bagus has over 8 years of experience in smallholder’s business chain development and agri-business development in Indonesia. For example, he worked with an agriculture eco-system business for a start-up called CROWDE, by developing business and technology applications for several commodities such as Maize, Chilli or Kenya Beans in several areas in Indonesia. As the technical officer, Bagus joined Ausvet in 2021 for the TRANSFORM Project.
Bagus wants to direct his experience and work capacities towards the development of the agricultural business in Indonesia, focusing on enhancing animal health to positively impact smallholder farmers’ livelihood.
Kusnul Yuli Maulana– Technical Officer, TRANSFORM Indonesia
Yuli graduated from the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia with a DVM degree in 2017. She worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Veterinary Public Health at Universitas Gadjah Mada during her DVM degree and was able to participate in an internship program at Chiang Mai University, Thailand during her final semester. After a work experience as a technical sales representative for PT SHS International (a Charoen Pokpand subsidiary), she continued her studies by enrolling in a master’s program at Chiang Mai University under the program of Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for the Asia Pacific (VPHCAP) with a major in veterinary public health. In 2022, she started working for AUSVET in the TRANSFORM Project, as the technical officer.
Throughout her studies and work experience, Yuli has developed a keen interest in one-health, food safety, and epidemiology.
